Terms and Conditions — Doors

Our aim is to ensure that all our customers are satisfied with their purchases. The following terms and conditions are designed to reduce misunderstandings and errors in the ordering process. Please consider the following when making a purchase.

  • We aim to dispatch all standard doors within 3-7 working days of sending your order confirmation e-mail.

  • 24-48 hours before delivery our home delivery company will contact you to arrange a delivery day. This arrangement will be subject to your availability.

  • We employ a home delivery company and cannot be held responsible for delays or damage to goods in transit.

  • Any potential problems in reference to the delivery (e.g. Low bridges, restricted access) should be made known prior to order. Couriers will deliver to ground floor only.

Cancellation & Returns

  • You may cancel orders of standard doors at any time after you have placed it and within seven working days after the day the goods were received. Goods should be in a good unused condition with all the original packaging undamaged and intact, this includes labels, polystyrene and packaging film.

  • The payment you made for delivery is not refundable as our home delivery company will have to uplift the goods from yourselves.

  • Returns within 7 days on free delivery orders above £500 will incur an uplift charge of £75.00

Measuring & Installation

  • We cannot be held responsible for errors in measurements of doors. Please check your measurements carefully before ordering. If any incorrect sizes were given when placing the order we must be informed in writing within 1 working day (24 hours) after the order has been placed.

How to cancel your order

  • Contact us by e-mail on sales@theinternetdoorstore.com to obtain a "Returns Number" (RN) within seven days of receiving your goods.

  • Returned goods will be collected by our home delivery company. A fee, equal to that paid for delivery, will be charged for returned goods.

  • After we receive the returned goods, and are satisfied with their condition , we will reimburse the order value, or exchange as required. Unfortunately we cannot refund original delivery charges, and in the event of exchange we will require further payment to cover cost of re-delivery.

Damaged or incorrect goods

  • All goods should be counted and checked thoroughly against the delivery note before signing. Look for obvious signs of damage. If there is any damage to the product or packaging, this MUST be made clear on the delivery note. If in some cases this is not possible, damage should be reported within 72 hours of receiving the goods. If an item is reported damaged which exceeds this time, We cannot be held responsible for the cost of any replacement items.

  • We cannot be held responsible for damage done during installation, and therefore any product damage reported outside of 72 hours will not be replaced.

  • Product is provided on a supply only basis, for DIY installation. If you are planning on having your product professionally fitted, then we advise that you don't book in a fitter until the product has arrived and been checked. We are not responsible for on costs incurred due to delays, damages or incorrect goods.

  • Product which has been prepared for installation or previously fitted is deemed to have been accepted, and cannot be claimed against.

We aim to ensure that all our customers are satisfied with their purchases. The following terms and conditions are designed to reduce misunderstandings and errors in the ordering process. Please consider the following when making a purchase.

Delivery

  • We aim to dispatch all standard doors within 14 to 21 working days

  • our home delivery company will contact you to arrange a delivery day. This is normally during the following week and subject to your availability.

  • We employ a home delivery company and cannot be held responsible for delays or damage to goods in transit.

  • We deliver to anywhere in mainland United Kingdom. Unfortunately we do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, The Isle of Man or the Channel Islands at this time.

  • Any potential problems in reference to the delivery (e.g. Low bridges, restricted access) should be made known prior to order. Couriers will deliver to ground floor only.

  • There is a fee of £45 to cover the cost of collection of standard doors no longer required. Made to measure doors can only be cancelled within 2 working days (48 hours) of the email confirmation of the order as the product will have been manufactured to suit your specific sizes.

Colours and Finishes

If you are in any doubt over a colour or a finish, please contact us before ordering. For the made to measure ranges, please contact us and we can arrange a colour sample. For standard doors, please call us, and we can advise if there is somewhere local that you can view the product.

  • Delivery is normally next working day, excluding Scottish Highlands. For the Scottish highlands delivery can be as little as next working day or as long as seven working days.

  • We employ a home delivery company and cannot be held responsible for delays or damage to goods in transit.

  • We deliver to anywhere in mainland United Kingdom. Unfortunately we do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, The Isle of Man or the Channel Islands at this time.

Law and Jurisdiction

  • Contracts for the purchase of products through our site and any dispute or claim out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by Scottish law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such contracts or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England
